Yo Vo received his MA in Film Design from the National Film & Television School, Royal College of Art, London where he won the Joe Farley Award for Most Promising Production Designer of The Year.
As a designer and photographer he has done work for Adobe, BAFTA, Channel 4. Some of his photography & video work has been published and exhibited in 125 MAGAZINE, Venice Experimental Cinema & Performance Art Festival, VICE Magazine, HUNGER Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine, FOTO8 Gallery as well as shortlisted for MAGNUM Photos 30 under 30, Sony World Photography Organisation, the Royal Photographic Society competitions and others. The latest fashion film he directed is currently in festival circulations where it picked up a Bronze award for best Dance/Fashion Film from the Queen Palm International Festival and is also nominated as an “Official Selection” in several other festivals.
Yo Vo is fascinated with the ways in which we remember, desire and dream. His work attempts to capture characters and out of the ordinary situations immersed in motifs of timelessness and uncertainty.
