Audrey Ellis Fox is a narrative-led filmmaker who crafts inventive and highly evocative worlds with compelling characters, dynamic set design, and surreal camera techniques. Her directing style is rooted in the nexus of fashion, music, and popular culture. Her often surreal and splashy visuals playfully push the boundaries of conventional storytelling to create a unique and impactful experience that takes viewers to other realms.
Audrey has written and directed for clients such as Amazon, Farfetch, Sony, Pacsun & Vogue. Her extensive music videos include films for artists signed to labels from Epic, Columbia, Republic, Warner and Atlantic Records.
In 2022 she was nominated for an MTV VMA for her directing work for Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, and Blackbear.
Audrey is currently in development for her debut feature. While her short films ‘Retreat’ and ‘Patricia Drive’ played at Oscar-qualifying festivals including Hollyshorts, LA Shorts, Urbanworld (HBO), Rhode Island International Film Festival, Maryland Film Festival, and SLIFF.
