Sweden born, London based Marcus Storm has a beautiful lens attached to his work, it’s raw, authentic and delicate. With a background in documentary filmmaking, delivering heartfelt messages is a recurring theme in his work. His films feel organic and real; they don’t feel forced or staged much due to his way of working with real people/non-professional actors. He has the ability to capture powerful and strong emotional responses from his audience and can tackle sensitive storytelling creatively. His films have won first prize at Nordic Youth Film Festival in Norway, at Reed Awards in the US and Uppsala Short Film Festival in Sweden. His latest short film The 10th of April had its world premiere at Fotografiska, one of the most renowned museums in Scandinavia.
