Kristyna Archer is an award-winning director with a passion for creating thought-provoking and visually compelling work through a lens of hyperrealism. She explores the surreal and the absurd, with a proclivity towards irony, infused in her vibrant stylised worlds. Her distinct aesthetic and playful tone breathes life into all types of commercial and branded projects in film, moving image, stop-motion, and photography work. Concepting from her keen eye for design and quirky point of view with access to an abundantly curious imagination, there’s never a dull moment on set.
Some recent accolades include winning 5 Telly awards for her Pantene Pro-V “Ban the Bun” #Buntervention spot; her Mommy Bahama project for 72 & Sunny NYC winning a Webby, an ADC award, and featured in Adweek; being nominated for Best Fashion Film by London Fashion Film Festival for her fashion short “Musical Chairs: A Battle Royale”; being shortlisted for the Next Generation Award by the Berlin Commercial Awards, and her quarantine film “A Beginner’s Guide to Quarantine from a Born-Again Optimist” being selected for both Shiny Picks and New Faces, New Voices with official selections by various other film festivals internationally.
She splits time between LA & NYC, and can be found playing hide n’ seek with her nephew or befriending any cat that crosses her path.
